Welcome to the official page for the fan project for Twice Ze Flavor which is a ground up remake of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus!
Since Abe’s Exoddus reached it’s 20th anniversary in 2018 and then 25th in 2023, Samtastic Games Studios (now called NJ Arcade) had an idea to make their own version of Abe’s Exoddus and called it Twice Ze Flavor: The Unofficial Abe Game based on the discussions in 2015 after the sucess of New ‘n’ Tasty when OWI were working on the follow up to New ‘n’ Tasty, the next thing would’ve been a direct remake of Exoddus, but Lorne Lanning the creator of Oddworld had chat with the teams at Oddworld and they decided to redo what Exoddus should’ve been.
A blog on this site will explain what goes on with this project and how we managed to make this remake. You’ll be able to download the demo version (based on the Abe’s Exoddus demo) for Windows and Mac sometime in 2026-27!
What’s more? The full and final game of TZF will be abousloutely free to play, no charge as this is a tribute game of Abe’s Exoddus and New ‘n’ Tasty approved by Lorne Lanning. Obviously Lorne is not allowed to voice characters for this game, but we have some voice talent who can impersonate the characters very well!
